As a member of the Board of Directors for the U.S. based Student Project Africa Network (SPAN), it is one of my duties to help raise funds for the NGO Partners in Africa. If you can make the time, please read my Out of Africa posts to learn about the work SPAN has conducted in Kenya.

Having spent a month working at the Pistis Academy & Orphanage in Nakuru, Kenya in the fall of 2007 and in the spring of 2008, another month in the same area working with three schools, I am confident that the monies moved are used in an efficient, beneficial manner.
