On MacOS or Windows, when a .0 version of FireFox (for instance) comes out, you go to the site and you upgrade. It doesn’t work that way in Linux, because whoever is in charge of that kind of thing compiles the browser for a new version of … gcc is it? What kind of idiot did that? Are they still alive or did they drown in the rain recently?

Hello Troy my name is Mr. WordPress and I must agree with you. I did see a fellow staring up at the rain recently and choking madly at the same time because he kept his pie-hole open. Hopefully that is the person you are referring to and this silliness will stop.
Sincerely Yours,
Mr. WordPress

Ah my mistake. It’s not to do with gcc or anything (I’ll bitch about that and sylpheed claws another day I guess). Rather it’s politics!
